Donald Trump vs. O’Reilly On Birthright Citizenship
TRUMP: "We’ve spent last year $113 billion on illegal immigrants.
We have to do something about it."
Mr. Trump’s immigration reform plan addresses the issue of hundreds of thousands of children being born on U.S. soil to illegal immigrants each year:
“End birthright citizenship. This remains the biggest magnet for illegal immigration. By a 2:1 margin, voters say it’s the wrong policy, including Harry Reid who said ‘no sane country’ would give automatic citizenship to the children of illegal immigrants.”

REID: "No sane country would do that, right? Guess again."
Bill O’Reilly asserted Trump’s proposal has no chance of becoming reality.

O'REILLY: “But then you say, ‘well we gotta have mass deportations.’ That’s not gonna happen because the 14th Amendment says if you’re born here, you’re an American and you can’t kick Americans out.”
TRUMP: "I don’t think they have American citizenship and if you speak to some very, very good lawyers — and I know some will disagree — but many of them agree with me, you’re going to find they do not have American citizenship."
In 1868, a definition of citizenship entered the Constitution with the ratification of the Fourteenth Amendment:
All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.
O’Reilly asked Trump if he would support a constitutional amendment to put an end to birthright citizenship.

Donald Trump : " I can see it. people are not doing well. the economy is not doing well. the banks are heavily regulated and being demanded, they're not able to make deals, and frankly, you know, the banks have not behaved very well because they haven't been loaning out money but the regulation is so stringent and so tough that it makes it very hard to get the economy going and you can't get the economy going unless the banks are going to get going."

Donald Trump : I do not love this issue I much rather talk about how China is ripping us off how OPEC is ripping us off that's what I am really good at I understand it I can do such a great job , but this issue came out about six weeks ago and I have heard about it for years but I never thought too much about it and I assumed he was born in this country , but six weeks ago I started really looking into it , he's got a certificate of Life Birth that's not a birth certificate it's a big big step lower in fact in some places you cannot get married you cannot get a driver's license with a certificate of Life Birth ...etc...

Donald Trump : "People do not realize that Iraq after Saudi Arabia has the greatest oil reserves in the world , 15 trillion dollars worth of oil , Iran just wants that so badly , I have been saying that for long time they're going to go and get it , so may be we should take it , why give it to them , we are over there , may be we should take that oil , when this whole thing started everybody said we only in it for the oil , the fact is our leaders were too stupid to think that way , people thought that way but the leaders were too stupid to think that way , if we're only in it for the oil let's be in it for the oil may be before we leave Iraq we should take the oil ...during a recent speech I made a statement why should we secure and bring great safety to all of these very wealthy nations that rip us off consistently as an example South Korea and others and not gonna pay for it ? why are we their security guard , we should use our military and frankly make a lot of money with our military we have the greatest military in the world we have the greatests soldiers in the world we are not them the soldiers they're really acting as a police force we go in we won the war in one day and the rest of the time we are nothing but policemen and by the way it's police men that will never gonna work ...If we protect a nation they have to us for that protection ..."
